An Act to Amend the Charter of Scone Act 2014

An ACT to amend the Charter of Scone Act by way of naming the unnamed boroughs of the shires of the Kingdom of Scone.

Whereas Section B of the Third Schedule of an Act of Parliament the short title of which is the Charter of Scone Act 2014 has left unnamed four of the five boroughs of the five county administrative divisions of the Kingdom of Scone:Whereas a Committee of His Majesty’s Government has attended to various processes for the selection of names for the said unnamed boroughs and has completed the said processes: BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Burgesses of the Realm, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: I. SHORT TITLE This Act may be cited as an Act to Amend the Charter of Scone Act 2014 II. NATURE OF THE AMENDMENT The Charter of Scone shall be amended as follows in the Third Schedule, Section B, Numbers 2-5 (where no borough names are presently mentioned before the passage of this Act) the Schedule of the Charter shall read in full: A. For the County of Glennainshire: Glennainburgh B. For the County of Mountcastle: Heathminster C. For the County of Forth: Greenwood D. For the County of Murchaidh: Breninton E. For the County of Willanchurch: Kingston III. EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT This Act shall take immediate effect upon the Royal Assent.
