Gender equality act 2020

SCONNISH GENDER EQUALITY ACT

AN ACT to give equal titular status amongst married couples within Scone.

BE IT ENACTED by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Burgesses in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. SHORT TITLE

This bill may be cited for all purposes as “Gender equality act 2020”

2. GIVING EQUAL TITUAL STATUS TO ALL MARRIED COUPLES WITHIN SCONE.

Any person that holds a title of knight or above within scone that is married will be allowed to confer the same titular designations upon their spouse, including males that are married to females with titles and same sex couples.

Males that are married to female knights will be known as ‘esquire’ as equally females married to male knights are known as ‘lady’

Males married to female peers will be known by the courtesy title of ‘Lord’ regardless of rank they will not use the full title of their spouse

The same will be applied to same sex couples including female couples who will be known as ‘lady’ as their courtesy title for any rank of knight and above.

Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the Kingdom of Scone on account of sex or gender identity.

In the event that a style of marriage shall be dissolved macronationally as a class (such as same-sex marriage), those granted these titular designations in the Kingdom of Scone will not have the titular designations removed unless the holding of them would otherwise violate Sconnish Law.

3. PEERS WITHIN THEIR OWN RIGHT-

If a married spouse is designated as a peer or knight within their own right, the courtesy title is then annulled regardless of their spouse's rank of peerage.

4. COMMENCEMENT

This legislative and all the provisions therein shall come into force upon receiving the Royal Assent.
