Annual Census (Repeal) Act 2017

An Act to repeal the Annual Census Act of 2015 and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Burgesses in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1. SHORT TITLE This Act may be cited for all purposes as “Annual Census (Repeal) Act” 2. REPEALING THE ANNUAL CENSUS ACT OF 2015 The Annual Census Act of 2015 is repealed in its entirety and shall have no further force or effect in the law. 3. AMENDMENTS TO THE ENROLLMENTS ACT 2014 A. Sections 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 of the Enrollments Act 2014 are repealed in their entirety. B. Section 5 of the Enrollments Act 2014 is amended to strike “Following the administration of the census,” from the first paragraph of that section. 4. COMMENCEMENT This legislation and all the provisions therein shall come into force upon receiving the Royal Assent.
