Hound & Quarry Accessibility Act 2017


[Passed 8-1. Royal Assent: May 31st, 2017]

An Act to provide greater public access to the Hound & Quarry, to clarify certain moderation responsibilities, and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords and Burgesses in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1. SHORT TITLE This Act may be cited for all purposes as “Hound & Quarry Accessibility Act.” 2. OPENING UP THE HOUND & QUARRY TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC A. The Hound & Quarry shall be open to all members of the public who may freely join the group without an invitation. B. The Hound & Quarry shall be governed under Sconnish Law, and all individuals participating in the Hound & Quarry shall conduct themselves in accordance with the provisions therein. 3. MODERATION OF THE HOUND & QUARRY A. The Sovereign, The Prime Minister, and The Lord Chancellor shall have administrative access to the Hound & Quarry if they are members of that group, and may serve as moderators of the Hound & Quarry at their discretion to ensure that the Hound & Quarry’s collegial atmosphere is maintained and that all interactions comply with Sconnish Law. B. His Majesty in Council may appoint additional persons to be moderators and/or admins as he sees fit. C. The Sconnish Judiciary shall have the power to review any behavior within the Hound & Quarry and issue appropriate penalties against individuals who violate Sconnish Law in their behavior within the group. D. In extreme circumstances where the moderators shall determine that an individual has behaved in a particularly gross manner or is conducting automated spamming, the moderators may remove that individual from the Hound & Quarry. Removals for gross behavior must be reviewed by a judge of the Court of Common Pleas within 5 days to ensure just cause, and this removal may be appealed to the Courts directly by the individual who was removed. Removals for spam are only subject to judicial review if appealed by the individual who was removed. 4. COMMENCEMENT This legislation and all the provisions therein shall come into force upon receiving the Royal Assent.
